Angry Birds seem to be flying everywhere, and the latest place they seem to be headed is Facebook. Angry Birds creator Rovio flew to the game's official Facebook page and told fans that the video game would soon be challenging games like Farmville for Facebook dominance.
On Facebook, Rovio CEO Mikael Hed said "there will be completely new aspects to it that just haven't been experienced in any other platform" and confirmed that the pigs (who are really the villains) "will have a more prominent role" due to Facebook's "collaborative nature." Those who like the Facebook page will be privy to more information as it develops.
The Facebook page also reminds folks that Angry Birds Rio will be coming soon to app stores. The new game is a tie-inwith the Fox animated movie "Rio." The movie will debut on April 15, and the game is due this month. Here's how the game is described by Rovio:
